Art Institute of Chicago Wedding Florist

Nesma and Matt’s Art Institute wedding beautifully proved that even unexpected weather can’t dampen true celebration. Originally planned for the serene Pritzker Garden, their ceremony was gracefully relocated to the Modern Wing when thunderstorms rolled in, where dramatic white columns and carefully draped fabric created an intimate backdrop. The couple’s classic elegance shone through every detail - from burgundy and cream florals lining the aisle to the bride’s stunning strapless ballgown with intricate beadwork. As evening arrived, the celebration moved to the iconic McKinlock Court, where guests danced beneath the open sky surrounding the historic fountain. The architectural grandeur of soaring arches and ambient lighting transformed the space into something magical, while groomsmen in suspenders and bow ties kept the energy high on the dance floor. This wedding perfectly captured what makes the Art Institute such a coveted Chicago venue: the seamless blend of classical architecture, modern sophistication, and the flexibility to create unforgettable moments no matter what nature has planned.

Your Guide To Booking

Step One -

Assemble the Dream Team

Have your wedding date picked and your venue booked. Once you’ve got that sorted, pick yourself out a wedding planner or coordinator who you VIBE with. They’ll be able to help you find the best CATERERS and PHOTOGRAPHERS that fit your budget and aesthetic.

Once you have an idea of your GUEST COUNT - then it’s time to talk flowers.

STEP TWO -

Determine Your Wants + Spend

Your planner should be able to give you an idea of what portion of your total wedding budget to spend on what vendors, based on what things are most important to you.

Our couples who value aesthetics and artistry above all spend an average of 20% of their total wedding budget on floral, candles, and decor rentals.

Couples who value this last, spend an average of 10-15% of their total wedding budget on flowers.

While we have an a la carte shop for couples looking to keep it simple, we have a 5k minimum for couples looking for full service design. Full service implies designing your floral side by side together, carrying you through your wedding weekend from start to finish. This covers bouquets and smaller personals, ceremony floral arches, aisle meadows, centerpieces, bar arrangements, etc. For full service clients, we offer delivery, set up, and tear down.

STEP Three -

Lock It Down

Reach out to us to determine if we’re available for your wedding date.

Once you inquire, we’ll gather some information needed to build a quote and custom design proposal. This is our favorite step of the process - we get to hone in your vision and show you everything we’ve got cookin’.

After you’re wowed by our proposal and pricing, you’ll be able to secure us for your wedding by signing a contract and putting down a 30% retainer! Easy peasy.
