San Diego Wedding Florist

At Three Swords Floral Co, we make designing luxury wedding florals feel effortless for our clients. But behind the scenes, we’re meticulously orchestrating floral orders from growers across the world. We are in and out of planning meetings with your vendors and doing repeated site visits to make sure our logistics leave no surprises for the big day. We’re in a revolving door of research and discover - blending flowers with house-made ceramics, handmade candles, and luxury-feel linens.

You deserve to feel taken care of on your wedding day, so hiring an experienced floral designer is important.

Lucky for you, we’ve been working in the floral and wedding industry since 2015. We’ve seen trends come and go. We have a decade of troubleshooting in our toolkit. We know how to make a good design stand out and speak for itself.

You’re in good hands, let us take it from here.

How We Work:

Our Wedding Floral Design Process

  • Reach out via our contact form. We'll respond within 48 hours to discuss your wedding date, venue, and vision. If we're available and it feels like a good fit, we'll schedule a consultation.

  • We'll meet (in-person or virtually) to discuss your wedding style, venue, and floral preferences. Within 2 weeks, you'll receive a detailed design proposal including mood boards, suggested florals, and transparent pricing.

  • Once you approve the proposal, we'll send a contract and request a 30% retainer to secure your date. We only take 8-12 weddings per year, so booking early is recommended.

  • 6-8 weeks before your wedding, we'll finalize all details: exact floral varieties, quantities, setup logistics, and timeline. This is when we coordinate with your planner and venue.

  • For weddings over $10k, complimentary floral samples are available 6 weeks before your event. For weddings under $10k, samples can be scheduled for an additional fee of time and materials.

  • Our team sources premium California grown flowers, creates your designs, and handles delivery and setup at your venue. We coordinate timing with your planner to ensure seamless installation.

  • You get to enjoy stunning florals without lifting a finger. We handle all setup and breakdown, so you can focus on celebrating.

Custom Ceramics

If you’re booking a wedding or event with us, you’ll have the opportunity to commission some custom ceramics. We mail out test tiles and mock ups once you’re booked, and we’ll design a custom stamp to personalize your ceramics.

These are great for people looking to have a meaningful guest takeaway at the end of the event without having to worry about clean up logistics.

Floral Samples

We only include floral samples and renderings for clients spending 10k and beyond. Otherwise we rely on the careful curation of your design proposal to help guide us through production. Clients who would like samples, but are spending under 10k, can schedule a mock up meeting for a fee of materials and time, dependent upon their event’s needs.

Floral samples are typically scheduled 6 weeks from your event date (2 weeks before final payment is due). This ensures enough time to workshop the design and provide invoice adjustments before final payment is completed.
