All About Mexico City Weddings
Who we Are
Three Swords Floral Co. is owned and operated by Anne Latham. We’re a destination floral and event design firm, based in the Pacific Northwest. We specialize in traveling to our clients, fulfilling dream weddings near and far.
We’re artists first, florists and planners second. Getting lost in the details is our forte, and we thrive in events with lots of moving parts. We can plan, design, and produce your event — letting you have a white glove guest experience at your own affair.

What you need to
get married here
Before you can say "I do" in Mexico, it's important to understand the legal requirements:
Residency
Typically, you don't need to be a Mexican resident to get married in Mexico. However, specific requirements may vary by state, so it's advisable to check with local authorities.
Documentation
You'll need to provide a valid passport, a tourist card (issued upon arrival), and a blood test, which is often required within a certain timeframe before the wedding.
Witnesses
Mexico requires four witnesses who are 18 years or older to be present at the ceremony. Some venues may provide witnesses for you.
Legal Ceremony
Ensure your wedding ceremony is legally binding by having a registered officiant preside over it.
Marriage License
Following the ceremony, you'll receive a marriage certificate, which will need to be apostilled and translated for it to be recognized in your home country.

Hacienda de los Morales
Hacienda de los Morales was built in the late 17th century on an old mulberry farm; since then, this hacienda has become one of Mexico’s most premier restaurants and wedding venues. It boasts an incredible fine dining menu featuring traditional Mexican foods among Spanish and other Mediterranean influences.
Museo Casa de la Bola
Escape back in time to 17th and 18th century works of art in one of CDMX’s oldest buildings tucked away in Mexico City’s Tacubaya neighborhood (one of the oldest areas in CDMX). The images you’ll see online truly do not do this place justice - the vaulted ceilings and lush greenery make this historical building glow in photographs.
Rosewood Mexico City (Opening 2025!)
Opening in 2025, this new wedding venue will be in the heart of Mexico City, within close walking distance to other local restaurants and shopping centers.
This new luxury resort will feature just under 100 rooms, 35 suites, and multiple restaurants and wellness spas. For couples looking to give their guests a high end, one of a kind wedding weekend experience, THIS is going to be the hot spot to book.

“The process of working together couldn’t have been more seamless. I shared inspiration, we aligned on my needs, and reviewed her spot on proposal at which point I put my full trust in her. Anne truly outdid herself - creating the perfect wild, yet classic summer florals. The photos speak for themselves! Anne is a true artist.”
-
Tory + Joe; 2021
“Anne is such a talented artist and I was lucky enough to have her flower for two events. Her eye is unmatched and she is a joy to work with. Do not hesitate to order her arrangements or book her for your next event.”
-
Stephany; 2023
“The florist behind Three Swords Floral Co. is truly an artist at what she does. Each arrangement or floral installation is ethically sourced, and above all is a work of art itself. Anne is wonderful to work with and will help you with achieving your overall vision. I trust her and couldn’t recommend her enough!”
